To Shorty2250 - SoapNet is also canceled, it will go off the air in January 2012 because Disney/ABC, in their infinite wisdom, decided that we need yet another channel dedicated to kids shows. Ya know, because we don't already have enough what with all of the current Disney Channels, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, etc. etc...The only hope, and it's a long shot, is that Lifetime, or OWN or another network dedicated to womens programming decides to pick up AMC and OLTL. Didn't work for any of the other soaps canceled in recent years, but we can hope.

I agree that it is absurd that they are cancelling All My Children and One Life to Live. We do not need any more talk shows. They should put them on another channel like maybe OWN.

I am truly heart broken that they cancelled AMC. What do they think they're going to put in it's place? Some stupid talk show with some nobody? Oprah's leaving. They should have kept it and tried it out with the new head writer. As far as this Erica kidnapping goes, I think Jack should realize Erica is in danger and try to find her. If he really loves her he should realize that. She is truly in love with him, and had to lie to him so her grandchildren wouldn't get hurt. I am dying to know who kidnapped her and why? Past husband maybe? Who knows. As far as Angie's surgery, yes she shoud trust David, he's a doctor firstly and foremost, and he wouldn't do anything to endanger a patient. He performed surgery on people he didn't even like and saved their lives, I think he'll give her her sight back. And I don't think Angie will be able to tell that that baby isn't hers. How could she know? Babies look so different when they're babies, you can hardly tell who they take after until they're atleast toddler age. But Jesse is going to have to break down and tell Angie the truth eventually then they could adopt that baby legally, right now they have her illegally, and he's the chief of police kids, so that ain't good. It's about time Kendall figured out Ricky was not to be trusted, just one little word made her figure it out "sweetheart" because that was in the letter from Zach, and she says Zach never called her that. hopefully Griff will be able to help her, too.

what is this mostly people in their 50's watch amc they are looking for younger viewers those younger viewers are either in school or working when amc comes on. I am in my 50's and have watched amc since I was A TEENAGER. iT'S not fair

Dear soapnet it would be great if you could somehow pickup All My Children! ABC does NOT know what they are doing by getting rid of them. Too many talk shows, cook shows and reality on TV. I know their cheaper to have but really why do they have to let them go? As a working woman myself I watch them at night on your channel..PLEASE, PLEASE, ANYONE WHO WANTS THEM TO STAY ON THE AIR AS WELL AS ONE LIFE TO LIVE VOICE YOUR OPINION!!! This may do no good but I have been a faithful fan of ALL MY CHILDREN since I was 16...36 yrs. now. All the cast are just great all though I have my favorites!

All I want is some fairness for my favorite couple. Denise and Cornelius deserve it. They have been patiently waiting in the wings. Please writers, give Frankie and Randi fans what they have been waiting on: A compelling storyline and a Frandi baby.

I am just heart broken, the two soaps have been canceled. I grew up with them, as did so many others. Honestly if I didn't like so many other programs on that net work I would boycott it. These soaps will be truly missed.

I hope Angie gets her sight back soon, and when she realizes that the baby is not her's, I hope she kicks Jesse's butt. I never liked this story, so hopefully (at least) when AMC ends they are then reunited (maybe with Angie being pregnant again with the Hubbard baby we were all hoping for).
Actually, the Erica story is intriguing and different for a change. I haven't even come up with a good guess on who has kidnapped her so I am very interested to find out. I hope Jackson and Kendall figure it out and save her. Would love to finally see a Jerico reunited.
Still do not like the Castillo family, and hopefully they are not around much longer. Griffin stole drugs and deserves to be punished. I hope he stays out of the country for good. Wouldn't you lose your medical license for stealing drugs (and it wouldn't matter the reason)?
Love the Kendall is finally figuring out that Ricky is bad. I'm sure she will kick his butt, especially when she realizes it was him that attempted to murder Zach (her only one true love). My biggest hope is that she finds Zach, and they are finally united with a happy ending. Go Team Slater.
I am very very sad with the cancellation of OLTL & AMC. It is not a good day for daytime television. I will not be watching the replacement shows as they hold interest for me -- there are enough of these types of shows already saturating the networks (including all the cable channels).
