All My Children Sneak Peek: Week of 3/28/11

Angie's getting closer and closer to her due date, and all of a sudden, she's having doubts. Did she make a mistake, deciding to have a child? But doubts or no, it's full steam ahead, as this week, Angie starts to go into labor. The only problem is, Jesse needs to get her to a hospital -- and that's going to be a problem.

What happens next – and the choices Jesse is faced with, and makes, will change the lives of the Hubbard family forever.

The tempestuous relationship between Erica and Caleb reaches a peak this week when Caleb finally admits how he feels to Erica. And so Erica goes right to Jack, who whisks her away to the Caribbean to get married! But is Erica marrying Jack for the right reasons, or just to spite Caleb? (Of course, when you're Erica Kane, they're ALL right reasons to get married.)

In the wake of the bachelor-auction dates, Kendall and Griffin each take stock of their relationship. They're just friends ... right? Kendall decides this week to accelerate the casino sale, but once that happens, Griff won't have any reason to stick around. Is that what she really wants? Meanwhile, look for Ricky to put pressure on Cara to influence Kendall for his own nefarious ends. Don't expect Cara to be quite so influence-able.

Speaking of Cara, her new position at the hospital has her in close professional contact with Jake. Of course, from Amanda's point of view, she's also invading Jake's personal life -- and Amanda's not going to take it. Watch to see how Jake responds when Amanda puts her foot down.

All this, plus JR continues his push to win Marissa back through AJ, and is Colby ready to move on? With Asher?

What do you think about the events to come this week? What would you like to see? Sound off below!

Can't say I would miss Erica Kane, Susan Lucci makes me nauseous and her character isn't any better and Jack , that lap dog, whipped jerk, oh pls like anyone wants to watch him make a fool of himself yet again. Jesse and Angie, now baby swapping is sick and so unrealistic and then he just burys his own baby like nothing happened, oh pls God help us. AMC is becoming yet again, too stupid to watch any more!!

Well, the actors that play Marty and Charley have been let go. It will be interesting to see how those characters leave the show. Check out www.soapcentral.com/oltl. They have spoliers for all the soaps as well as comings and goings.

I think it horrible that Jesse and Angie's baby was dead. She been through so much with going blind and everything that the writers had to make her lose the only joy in her life. I know it all for the drama but why them. We already have so many horrible things happening with Kendall and Zach being killed... or will he return right when Griffin and Kendall get together. I hop that Ricky guy get caught before something really bad happens.

OMG I cannot believe that Angie's baby is dead and Jesse and Brot covered it up and burried the poor angel in a heap of dirt. The is totally off the wall. Of course they will get caught and Angie will Never forgive Jesse. Erica is like a skeleton - and looks sickly. She is still at her old games - she wants Caleb who is she kidding. Krystal and Jack need to get it on. This Ricky crap is getting old too. I agree why didn't Kendall as how the kids were that got beat up, supposedly for drugs according to Ricky. Ryan will find out that Greenlee knew that Madison was pregnant way up front and will leave her for Madison. And that bratty kid needs royal slap and detention. She's just like her mother. JR will lose in the end and not get his family back. Too many tricks. Jake and Amada will not make it because their marriage is so strained with Cara in the picture. I like Kendall with Griff. Ricky needs to be caught quick - sick of him

The current writers were probably warned about "The Poisoned Pancakes" storyline when they were hired.....
They probably thought, "we would never be THAT stupid !"
Apparently, they did not learn the lesson......

Shades of Babe and Bianca !! Jesse should talk to Crystal Carey about this !!

I'm surprised at all the negative reactions to the storyline with Angie and Jesse's baby. Is the story shocking? Yes! Was it played perfectly by the actors? Yes! I for one think this story, while obviously super sad on the one hand, is brilliant. Jesse and Brot were in a bad situation, and while we all know the odds of someone dropping off a baby, let alone a black baby girl, in Brot's police car just as Angie was in labor and having stillborn baby girl are a gazillion to one (more like zero no matter how you slice it), that's what soaps do. They tell stories that are not realistic, nothing like this could possibly happen in real life. The part that really got me was once they were in the hospital and everyone was gathered around Angie and that beautiful little baby. Ohhing and Ahhing about how cute she is, and how happy they all are to have her in their lives, totally and unconditionally in love with her. There are going to be some ticked off folks when the truth surfaces, and we all know it will. I was equally intrigued by how Asher ended up being the one to swoop in and save the birth mother when he found her in the park. I think he's a good character and to put him in the middle of this story was unexpected, but very smart. Darnell Williams is such a fantastic actor, I was crying right along with him when their baby died and he was holding her in his arms. Then when the abandoned baby started to cry and he made the decision to switch the babies, the look of panic and confusion and grief on his face was perfect. Given any other choice, he would never have done something like this. But after all Angie has been through, he could not bear to have to tell her that her baby died, so when a solution presented itself he jumped on it. Bravo! This is going to be quite a story to watch unfold, I can't wait.
