I really hope ABC doesn't cancel AMC for a stupid talk show! Ugh, we don't need any more talk shows, they're all the same and they are all awful. There is something we can all do - there are online petitions that can be signed for fans to voice their opinion. You can also write to ABC television directly. Anyone on Facebook can start a save AMC thread there too, never underestimate the power of the people!

As for the story lines, they hyped up these new writers before they came on and in my opinion they haven't really delivered. There have been a couple of good stories, but mostly it seems like they are floundering. Angie going blind is the top of my list for an out-there story. Then she ends up pregnant, come on now, that's a stretch even for a soap. David "dying" was good and opened the door for some interesting stuff, but they didn't really do all they could have with it. Bringing on the Castillo family has been an interesting addition. I'm not totally sold on the gal that plays Cara just yet even though I think having her and Tad marry was a good plot point. Ryan/Greenlee are the same recycled story over and over, time for them to move on and hopefully Greenlee move out and stay out this time (as in off the show). As for Kendall, folks are slamming the story where she is already having another potential love interest after the death of Zack. It happens in real life that way too, more often than people probably think. The death of a spouse is a terrible thing, but life is for the living and people do find ways to move on. Who says what the right time frame is? It can be different for everyone. Lastly, I'd say if the writers really want to have an impact on the audience, focus on the legacy characters like Tad, Erica, Opal, the Chandlers. Bring Adam back, that'll shake things up!

I don't know what ABC's plans for AMC are, but I don't want the show canceled. I have watched it for most of my life and it's a part of my routine. The characters (some of them, anyway) are like family in a way. What I do want to see is someone to write with a nod to AMC's history as a ground breaking, socially conscious show, who honors the characters we have grown up with while slowly working in new characters as they fit. I want to see couples that have chemistry paired together, which means Tad and Cara and Scott and Madison should get a real chance to make it, Jerica should be together without all the teenage angst that is more befitting Colby and Asher and that age group, and an end to forced couples that just don't work, like Ryan and Greenlee and Kendall and whatever is going on with Griffin. Zach needs to come back for Kendall. (Yes, I know it's been said that TK didn't want to move or commute, but we all know that things can change and that if ABC wants to make something happen, they can at least try.) I want to see the families I love: the Kanes, the Martins, the Chandlers, the Hubbards--all of them, including Randi and Frankie, who are much more a part of this show's history than any Castillos. And did I mention that I want Zach back?? There's a lot that can be done to save this show, and it can start by listening to the fans that have stood by it for decades and are looking for a reason to stand by it again.

Ryan and Madison should get back together. i don't like greenle's character at all and Ryan needs to find out the truth about greenlee knowing about the baby and setting up madison and scott and Angie's sight should come back

Loved the Jake and Amanda family scenes yesterday. That's exactly what AMC needs right now a focus on family. Nice to see them happy too!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Jake/Amanda/Trevor family scenes. Seeing them together as a family makes me want the same for Frankie and Randi all the more. I've been waiting for the Big Announcement that they are due to have their first child ever since they miscarried back in 2009. I want Frankie and Randi's forthcoming storyline to be the birth of their first child.

Hope Greenlee and Ryan have an happy ending, hope Jack and Erica will, Wamt to see Tad happy. Madison baby is Frankie she slept with Frankie that night when she was drunk and forgot about what happen, so fankie decided not to tell her since she didn't remembered, when she have the baby, it going to be a Black baby than everyone will know that it is Frankie baby.

Stop hating on Greenlee she and Ryan belongs together, not Madison how can the writer go from having Emma love Greenlee to now hating her and wanting only Madison, that is so crazy and stupid. Madison is not perfect see needs to be with Scott, stop trying to make Madison and Ryan a couple when we know they are not. Greenlee and Ryan all the way.
Leave Jake and Amanda along, Tad and Cara need to stay together if not get rid of her.

Like to see Marissa and Jr back together, the new Marissa is a stronger personality for him. Liza & David are great together she is hot and so is he with the right woman. Kendall and Griff are a great couple, much better than Zack was! Sorry but Ryan and Madison are much better together, put Greenlee with Scott maybe they would work better. Don't care about Erica and her drama and can't stand the gay crap. Love Bianca but maybe now she will find true love with a man for a change?

None of this seems appealing to me anymore. Normally I watch all the story lines but after not seeing any Frankie & Randi story for weeks,months now I just don't care for any of the show. We all have our favorites and its unacceptable that Frandi has been so backburned. Give them a story alread. I am hoping & praying they start thier family in that elevator next week. The only thing better would be if Randi is already pregnant and we learn in May shes in her 2 nd trimester with baby due by late summer

Look for a big announcement from ABC Daytime in the coming weeks regarding their daytime line-up. Sources are reporting that a major decision will be made regarding the future of One Life to Live and All My Children, and a possible cancellation of one of these soaps in order to make way for some new projects ABC has been planning. Although ABC relocated AMC from New York City to Los Angeles, the show has reportedly remained over budget. This fact may be in OLTL’s favor since it has managed to stay within its budget consistently. However, let’s just hope ABC decides to keep all three, as any cancellation would not be good news.
