All My Children Sneak Peek: Week of 2/7/11

When last we left Kendall, she -- along with Jake, Cara and Griffin -- was in an ambulance getting sideswiped by Annie. The resulting accident is bad, and Kendall's life hangs in the balance -- forcing Griffin to operate in the middle of a car wreck. No pressure there, right?

Across town, Greenlee and Ryan are preparing for their wedding with the secret of Madison's pregnancy still hanging over Greenlee's head. And who wants to start a marriage with a lie? (Well, half of Pine Valley, if you look at past weddings -- but we digress.) Point is -- Greenlee blurts out that Madison is pregnant! At the wedding!

Speaking of blurts, Cara reveals to Jake that she's still in love with him. Get this -- turns out that when she left Jake all those years ago, she did it to protect him. Some local thugs that Cara had upset with her Doctors Without Borders work had threatened Jake's life, so Cara left to protect him. So how's Jake going to react now that he knows Cara never really wanted to end things?

Annie -- for whom causing major accidents and chaining college students to furniture is only a slightly busy week -- goes into overdrive trying to cover her tracks. JR gets wind that she caused the car accident and decides to have her committed. Annie finds the papers and thinks Marissa is behind it, so she … Well, you'll see.

All this plus someone in Pine Valley might not be the person you think they are!

Make sure to tune in on Friday to watch a classic episode -- the 10th wedding of Erica Kane! Which is also her first wedding to Jack. Given it's Erica, we had to make that distinction.

What do you think about the events to come this week? What would you like to see? Sound off below!

I don't even watch this anymore because the greenlee -ryan-greenlee ryan fiasco is so mundane and old. Just when he fines someone new she always shows back up. Boring - that love is just boring.

I think new writers should be ordered. AMC is falling apart due to stupidity of the story line. I realize the show is fiction, but even the worst fiction books have better story lines than AMC. Get real people! Give us something that is at least half way believable! You have fans of many, many years that are being let down. I am very close to just hanging the show up and forget it. I am sick of Kendall's heart problems, past loves being resurrected out of no where when current loves are perfectly happy, the story line being forgotten and changed at the convenience of the writers, and Erica's bones hanging out. I had looked forward to the winter session so they would be covered. But no...she runs around half-dressed in the dead of winter too. Start writing her role for what she is...an old lady. She is a grandmother on the show even if she doesn't admit it. Quit portraying her as a sex queen! Mona sure was not portrayed as such. And please try to find some place other than the hospital for the show to be televised. There's more hospital scenes in AMC than there are in General Hospital!!

I can't wait for Ryan to find out Madison is pregnant, and he's going to wonder "how did Greenlee know and NOT tell me". I don't see a wedding happening after that. I love Mads and Scott together, they're awesome. Writers, make that something permanent. I also think they're throwing Cara and Tad together all the time because they're going to make them a couple. I'd llike to see TAd get together with Krystal. I think they were great together. As far as Kendall goes, I kind of understand what she's going thru...she just realized she shot David, and her mom was taking the blame, so it was important for her to go to her mother, that's why she collapsed, and this doctor is going to fall for Kendall because of all the time he's invested in her, and he really does care what happens to her...how many doctors show up at your work to find out why you missed an appt. I am sad that they're making Annie be looney again. They took a sweet, nice girl and made her nuts. I guess they have to tie in the fact that she's leaving. Maybe that's why she's leaving, she's sick of them labeling her as being a whacko. I hope good things come for Melissa Claire, she's awesome, and my husband really loves her. This week is definitely going to be great, though, and I'm looking forward to seeing Erica's wedding to Jackson again. That will be a nice rerun. I honestly don't know how they're going to write the operation in the ambulance, that's a little nuts. Have these people never heard of medivacs? I guess the writers haven't.

Please bring back the strong independent woman that we have all seen Kendall to be. I don't understand why these writer could not write a story of how a woman deals with being single and raising her boys and trying to find out what really happen to the love of her life. Sorry to tell you this but woman do not need men to take care of them. Please enough with health issue for a very long time. AMC really need Thorsten Kaye to return.

If I'm not mistaken, Erica and Jack married several years ago on an island and all three girls were bridesmaids.
In fact, the marriage took place outside under some trees.

Since AMC has decided to destroy my Jerica for losers like Cooney and KWAK, I will only be watching the Friday jERICA rebroadcast. I loved every minute of that wedding and it's a shame there isn't one writer with any creativity that could have given them an actual marriage to go along with it. I thought we'd be getting a second wedding but that's being blown to bits too, and again for no good reason, so I'll watch Friday and that's it.

AM is an amazing actress...and the character of Kendall is an amazing character. However, watching Kendall...in what has become her weekly heart condition life/death crisis...I think Friday was her third or fourth collapse in less than three weeks...isn't interesting to me. It is a sad statement when someone who is as big of a fan of AM/Kendall as I am...finds the writing so atrocious, boring, repetitive, basic and predictable...that the story doesn't hold interest for me. Why in the world the writers choose to go the route of Kendall in need of saving...over and over and over again...is beyond me. AM's talent would be wonderfully showcased in a story of a strong Kendall, dealing with the loss of her soulmate, being a single mother, business woman...Kendall doesn't need saving...the Kendall I know, would save herself, she is that strong and independent. She would be in the lead of finding out if Zach was killed and if so, who and why it was done...making them pay. She would do it for her boys...she would do it because of her love for Zach and knowing it is what Zach would want for her and their sons. "No end, no limit, no fear...that's how you'll live"...that is what Zach would want for her and that is what she would want to give to and for Zach AND her children. But, alas, the writers don't have an original thought in their arsenal...so, they simply rely on the formulaic writing of a damsel in distress in need of saving. It is a sad waste of what could have been great story for AM/Kendall. AMC is in desperate need for the return of TK/Zach and for Zendall...then everyone could sit back and watch the amazing chem and talent of TK/AM at work. Sad, sad, sad.

Cara/Jake...don't really care. Some flashbacks and them talking about the "love" they shared...doesn't really get me in a position to care or even believe it.

Rylee...seriously? This pairing's time has come and gone...and building a story around their wedding isn't the least bit interesting. Madison has been written so boring...can't even root for her in all of this ish. Oooo, the big secret is going to come out...if I don't care about Rylee...I can't stand the character of Ryan...and I don't find Madison interesting. Tell me again, why I am supposed to care about any of this?

Jerica...same story...over and over again. Pick a side...together or apart...then stick with it. Just pick one and then move onto another repetitive story.
