While I appreciate that Zach's words of true love will guide Kendall for the time being, I hope she begins to question her soulmate's "death." Circumstances surrounding Thorsten Kaye's status with the show can change. Please get All My Children's leading man back now. Kendall searching for the love of her life, eventually being reunited, which allows Team Slater's journey to continue in 2011.

Some of the people responding here have not been paying attention. Zack is not gone because the writers didn't want him anymore, he didn't want to move to the West Coast. It was HIS decision and I'm glad they didn't try to replace him with another actor. As for making it a bad move to play reruns, I think this is the perfect time to do it - new people don't know the background and it would be easier for them to understand what's going on now if they knew what happened before. I don't like missing new episodes but I understand that the actors deserve time off too.

Please bring Thorsten Kaye back as Zach Slater, reuniting with his wife and sons! The return storyline almost writes itself. The casino partners are holding Zach against his will and staged the plane crash. My hope is that the news the Kane woman receive gets them to question the circumstances surrounding Zach's "death." With the assistance of possibly Caleb, Kendall goes in search of her husband, the love of her life. A scenario similar to this would keep viewers guessing. The ending payoff of Team Slater together and whole would give the loyal fans exactly what they have been wishing for.

NOTE TO MARKETING:
The holiday season is the wrong time to have re-runs...this is the period when you build a new audience with kids home from school watching with their aunts, moms, grandmoms, & granddads!
The presents are upwrapped, people are hanging out at home, they flip on the TV to get caught up on their stories with family members in the room. During the commercial break, they explain the plot and characters - and guess what? - you have a new audience.
Instead, the TV is showing some gameshow or TV movie beause who wants to be bothered with re-runs?

I'm glad that Kendall gets to read Zach's feelings about her at this time in her grieving process, but what she really needs is to get news that her husband is alive. I hope that the news she and Erica get is news that will encourage them to start searching for Zach. That is the s/l that I would look forward to and it would keep me watching AMC. I do not want to see any ghosts of Zach urging Kendall to move on to agenda driven plots by TPTB.

I will always oppose any renewed toxic friendships between Kendall and Greenlee. That relationship should have been burried a long time ago and changed to an adversarial one such as the one between Brooke and Erica. Greenlee is a parasitic wart that Kendall does not need anymore. Kendall should develop some new friendships such as with Madison. Most of all Kendall needs her one and only real friend and soulemate back.... Zach.

I wish TPTB would have put as much effort into writing a good story for Zach and for Zendall while Thorsten Kaye was on contract as they are now doing in using his name and image to try and keep his fans and Zendall fans watching. The past two years (at least) have been filled with miserable writing for this great couple--from sperm donations to sleeping with others to Zach's death to now a feeble attempt to pair Kendall up with someone who is totally awful. The only news I want to hear is that Zach/TK is returning. And after that, that they have planned a great story for Zendall--one that doesn't involve the type of shoddy story-telling I mentioned above. Get Thorsten back and give Zendall the kind of story they and we deserve with romance, adventure, humor, family and (a little) angst that is character-driven--not plot-driven. This is what I will need to continue watching this show that I have watched nearly every day for 20 years.

I look forward to Kendall receiving Zach's gift to her...reading his feelings for her. Unfortunately for AMC, they have about used up their quota of using Zach/Zendall to keep viewers interested. Now they are in a position where they need to get TK/Zach back and give viewers an actual story for Zendall that is actually worthy of their love story...and the talent of AM/TK. I think it speaks volumes that a couple, where half of the pairing is "dead" draws more interest than most, if not all, the "alive" couples they have on canvas. I suspect, if it isn't already becoming apparent that AMC needs TK/AM/Zach/Kendall/Zendall on screen TOGETHER, it will be in short order.

As to Rylee. Who the freak cares? We are talking about Ryan...the man who blinks and changes the flavor of the week as far as women go. So, yea, how interesting to see Ryan with Greenlee...and concerned for Madison. Hmmmm, I wonder? Will Ryan switch up his women once again? Of course he will. And as far as Greenlee...they need to keep her away from children...born or not...they are always in danger when Greenlee is around.

Don't care about Cara...don't care about JR/Annie/Marissa/Scott.

I had to laugh at the "...episode where Erica pumps David full of hot lead and the fall-out from it. Happy New Year!". Yep, that pretty much sums up AMC...sad as it is.

ITA.....It not only falls short, it's just plain agenda driven garbage...... Using Zach to push Kendall into letting that thing back into her life is NOT entertainment.... It's not a Miracle... It's BS..

I agree, but also disagree..... Rylee are indirectly responsible for what happened to Zach...but are directly responsible for all the pain Zendall, Team Slater, and Kendall has suffered..... I do NOT want the gruesome twosome helping find Zach...... That would be another story they could take over and it would be all about the greatest of the gruesome twosome and not about Zendall...

"Please get Thorsten Kaye back and write that story STAT!"

Now that would be the Christmas Miracle everyone would want to see.....

Rylee continue to darkened the show... They continue to suck the life out of it...& viewers continue to scream for a change, for an end to this ish, but TPTB continue to turn a blind eye & deaf ear to the fans...... for that the ratings will plummet..

How freaking low must ratings go before someone stops Frons and his destruction in the name of the gruesome twosome known as Rylee, Ryass, GreenGnat...

OMG...are you kidding me? Killing off Zak? The writers really need to get a grip...they should have considered getting a replacement actor...and I seriously cannot stand Greenlee..and Ryan..Ryan has become such a jerk...and what's up with Greenlee? An ice queen....once again, it's all about Greenlee...They need to find Zak and bing him back..and I would love to see Erica hook up with Caleb...he's got a sexy thang going on...well, fix this mess..bring Zak back.....

I love that Kendall gets to read how Zach feels about her. I just want Kendall and the boys to have their husband and their daddy back. Bring back Thorsten
