Madison's pregnancy remains a threat to Greenlee and Ryan's relationship as long as Madison's around -- so Greenlee is prepared to take care of that. But will her job be taken care of for her when she finds Madison passed out in the snow (and will she get help?). Oh yeah, and why hasn't Greenlee told Ryan yet? Looks like she's keeping a secret ...
Kendall is surprised to get a Christmas gift from Zach -- a journal detailing his feelings for her. And as 2010 dawns, Kendall and Erica get some interesting news about Zach and what both ladies can expect for themselves in 2011. Once you hear it, we'll let you decide what you think it really means.
Cara is finding it harder and harder to work with Jake, given that they used to be married and all. This is making Amanda real uneasy so she places a call -- posing as Cara -- that could cause a whole heap of trouble.
JR's made significant progress with Marissa -- enough that he's sure a joint custody agreement is imminent. Annie remains an unstable threat, but that's not the only problem -- Scott has re-entered the picture (now played by Daniel Cosgrove). Scott's surmised that JR is working Marissa -- and may just tell her as such.
Quick programming note. There are no original episodes on Thursday, December 30 and Friday, December 31. Instead, you can see the episode where Erica pumped David full of hot lead, plus the fallout from the shooting. Have a Happy New Year!

Shoeme83 I completely support your post. I as well was very disappointed in Kendall's miracle. It wasn't that it was unexpected, but that it was so instantaneous of Kendall going from anger and grieving for Zach to complete love of Greenlee. More time should have been given to mend this relationship and I do not favor them ever becoming close friends. Totally unrealistic....too much bad water over the dam. I was glad to see Kendall letting go of her anger, but Greenlee did not deserve forgiveness so easily and so quickly after everything she has done to Kendall over the years. Also Zach's message to Kendall should not have been used as a propping device to reunite Kenlee. There is just too much agenda driven plot writing ignoring character history on the show for certain characters. It is no wonder that the ratings are reflecting audience dissatisfaction.
Greenlee aside, it is only fair to mention that the writing for Kendall and her overwhelming grief of having lost her soulmate, the love of her life, Zach, is praise worthy. I applaud the writers for giving Alicia Minshew scripts that honor the Zendall love story, which she as an amazing actress has taken to heights beyond all expectations and hopefully will be rewarded with well deserved accolades and awards from her peers in the industry.
There is just one hope that I have that hopefully will be fulfilled in not too distant future and that is the return of the irreplaceable romantic male lead, Thorsten Kaye as Zach Slater, to reunite AMC's true super couple, Zach and Kendall.
It's a sad when the TPTB feel they can use TK/Zach's popularity to push their own unpopular agenda. It's happened before so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. But I still was..I guess I am a slow study.
The fact is Zach and Kendall left PV to go on their cruise to get away from the drama that is Greenlee and Ryan, because as Zach saw it, they somehow always infiltrated Zen's marriage. So the idea that Zach would be taking time away with his wife..to write down the virtues of Greenlee..is just ridiculous. Even further far-fetched is that he would include this in the journal that is supposed to be describing his own personal feelings to Kendall. And then having Father Clarence bringing this "revelation" was totally nauseating. Using God and religion to push a bad storyline and unpopular characters was lower than low.
I did not like yesterday show even know I knew Kendall will soon forgive Greenlee because Kendall alway has to say she sorry for what she has done to Greenlee. Bring back Zach then Kendall won't need her needy little friends because she will have Zach and the boys
I think Greenly needs to step aside, her and Ryan never last and they aren't good together. One or the other will do something to destroy their relationship yet again. Ryan and Madison are a whole other story. They balance eachother out. She has never had someone who loved her for her. Another thing why does Ryan work so hard to win a woman's trust if he is going to just use them and throw them to the side when Greenly comes calling. I mean really he's a jerk most of the time. I had begun to like his charater again when he was with Madison, but now that he basicly done her like he done Annie well you get the picture. Madison needs to take that baby and raise it on her own, without Ryan playing daddy when he feels like it. Look at how often he see's Spike, he acts like Emma is his only child anyway.
The Christmas miracle this year was that there wasn't one. AMC, you blew it again. I'll believe in the miracle of your show as soon as you bring back Thorsten Kaye as Zach Slater.
I was very disappointed in Kendall's Christmas miracle. As much as I wished it would have been Zach, I knew it wouldn't be, but the whole thing with Zach leading her to Greenlee and then all of a sudden, everything was okay and "we're back!" was terrible. Kendall's grieving scenes have been so beautifully written until now. I don't know what happened here--it was eye rolling at best. I knew they would eventually make peace, but to go from one extreme to the other in a span of a few minutes was too much. And to use Zach as the catalyst just reeks of agenda on the writers' parts. I hate that the only time the writers of this show can make Greenlee likable is when she and Kendall are friends, but I hate even more using Zach to do it. Father Clarence's Christmas "miracle" gets a fail from me, AMC.
And fail, as well, for the pointlessness of Erica, yet again, falling for another man just when she's about to find happiness with Jack. I'm not even a Jerica fan, but enough is enough. Erica's too old for this--how about you let some other tragedy befall this relationship? Is it because triangles are the only story the HWs know how to write? Because it's not the only kind of story I like to watch. I like Krystal with Caleb--let's see a story about them fighting feelings for each other and trying to make something work.
If you have to break somebody up, though, how about Rylee? They're a terrible couple, yet they seem to always be coming back together again.
Here's what I do like: Madison being pregnant with Ryan's baby. I can't stand Ryan, but he's been tolerable with Madison, and if she and the baby come between Rylee, I'm all for it. And I'd like to see more of Griffin and Greenlee--I think they'd kick a little life into each other because Ryan ruins whatever spark Greenlee has. And speaking of the Castillos, I like the infusion of Cara into Jake's life. They needed something to stir things up.
have david wake up just long enough for liza to here he was trying to kill ryan and then die for real. erica would be off the hook. I wish this and other shows would stop trying to break up happy couples.
I hope Caleb and his son rekindle their relationship. I think his son is now starting to see that Caleb isn't really the deadbeat father he thought.
I hope Madison doesn't buy the bs that Greens is wanting to do for her........Greens is just wanting to buy Madison off so she'll disappear. I hope Ryan finds out about the baby......I think once Frankie see's that Ryan isn't stepping up at all to help Madion out,or if Frankie finds out that Madison is planning on leaving Pine Valley Frankie will go off on Ryan and tell him about the baby. Frankie and Madison are too close of friends to watch the other get crushed over and over again. Frankie will not want Madison to leave town.
If i were Madisons friend......I would of went off on Ryan by now, and Greens would know that she couldn't just buy my way out of town. Greens is a b#tch now a days, I hope ryan finds out about how she is planning to make Madison vanish.
I'll be so happy when Frankie and Randi have their own storyline!! Move Ryan's Baby Mama Drama #3 on somewhere else!!!
