All My Children Sneak Peek: Week of 1/17/10
David's awake. Which is not good news for anyone, but it's REALLY bad news for Kendall, because he remembers she was the one that plugged him full of hot lead. A recollection he shares with Erica. What will the Empress Kane do to shut David up and protect her daughter?
David's return to the land of the conscious also spells bad news for Ryan and Greenlee. Why? Because they get engaged this week. Only problem -- Greenlee's still legally married to David. Things are even more complicated by the growing friendship between Scott and Madison. With Scott now a free man, he hasn't forgotten that Greenlee helped him get released -- in exchange for romancing Madison. But when Ryan sees Madison and Scott together, things may get more complicated.
All this plus Brot and Natalia go public, Amanda confesses to Griffin how she tried to mess with his sister's life, and a Pine Valley-ite leaves town.
Make sure to tune in on Wednesday when AMC showcases a classic episode -- where Tad takes center stage. Remember that 2003 episode that was all a fantasy, where every woman in town wants to sleep with Tad? All amidst Erica and JOE MARTIN'S wedding? This episode was originally written based on scenarios and scenes fans wanted to see, so you have to tune in. It's seriously hilarious.

David makes the show interesting and it's funny how all the others keep getting away with murder, blackmail and anything else they do and yet David is the bad guy. I hope AMC decides to make David the main character and write him a really good story, who knows with a little change he can be 'good' too…..

jake and amanda are like the true real couple and i hope to see cara leave SOON because i dont really like her, and i dont want her to ruin amanda and jakes marriage cuz all of us know she still loves jake but keeps denying it
Did we ever find out who shot Madison. I was probably channel surfing as Liza was probably on. She is one dumb attorney. As a potentila DA I guess there is no money in the budget for an office since she is either at Krystal's Cafe or Confusion doing all her paper work. Sorry Damon is leaving. Glad that David is awake. Cannot stand him but he is interesting and makes you shake your head for all the things he gets away with.
Why do we have to be subject to these dumb re-runs? We already have to suffer with some of the idiotic storylines to end, but to prolong the agony of watching reruns that happened years ago. Why? If abc does not want to WASTE time then at least we should be able to watch on Soap channel,after all we have to pay for that service. Get rid of Cara. She and Jake do not have any chemistry, and why does Amanda always have to be at the hospital making out with Jake. Are cell phones allowed in hospitals?

The re-run episode of the fantasy scenes is not seriously hilarious - it's seriously dumb! And it was dumb the first time around. (I thought the explanation of the re-runs was because fans wanted background info for what's happening now - but that doesn't hold water if the re-run doesn't even have anything to do with the real plot.) If they're not careful, all these re-runs and days of no show at all are going to put the nail in the coffin of AMC. I assume we have an unwritten agreement - I arrange my daily activities and appointments around the noon hour of AMC (and have done so for years) and they give me a fresh story that I can count on and is worth watching. If they're not going to keep their part of the bargain, why should I?
