"All My Children" airs it's 10,000th episode next week. Which, when you think about it, is kind of insane. 10,000 hours of television!? The great part about it is that since it's only a new day in Pine Valley after every 8 or 9 episodes, it's totally still 1982 on the show.
Anyway, the show celebrates in style with Agnes Nixon, the show's legendary creator, making an appearance as "Aggie," a mysterious and quite wise woman who totes around a book called "All My Children." Hmm … Look for the special episode to air on Wednesday.
But just because the show hits a milestone doesn't mean the routine wackiness ends. In Puerto Rico, Ryan, Greenlee and Aidan (Cameron Mathison, Rebecca Budig and Aiden Turner) continue on the trail of Annie (Melissa Claire Egan), with Aidan getting knocked out by one of the kidnappers. Amidst all this, the character of Di returns. Remember her? She's Dixie's sister and JR's (Jacob Young) aunt. Kelli Giddish is not returning to the role, which kind of sucks, but them's the breaks. Anyway, Di gets all up in this mess. But why -- perhaps she's Emma's kidnapper? There's another big twist coming in this story that happens early next week.
