All My Children Names New Head Writers

Donna Swajeski and David Kreizman are new head writersDavid Kreizman and Donna Swajeski have been named as co-head writers of All My Children.

 

"David and Donna are the perfect team to bring new ideas to All My Children while remaining true to its core by telling stories with a focus on the integrity of the show's history, its characters and families on the canvas," said Brian Frons, President, Daytime, Disney ABC-Television Group. 

 

Together, David and Donna won the 2007 Daytime Emmy for best writing for Guiding Light. They are also WGA award winners.

 

David began working on Guiding Light in 1995 in the production office as an intern but quickly moved his way up. In 1997, he joined the show's writing team and was promoted to head writer in 2004. He served in that capacity until the show's end in 2009, when he moved to As The World Turns to become co-head writer.

I want to see stories of love and romance! I especially want to see stories with Dr. David. He's the most exciting character on the canvas, the sexiest man, and the one that makes watching fun! Pair David and Greenlee and let's see the games begin!
