I'm actually LOVING the story line this Summer although I wish they had introduced some new character who did the murder. (I'm housebound as I'm getting medical treatment this Summer, so I'm glad that the story line is a good one. ) Anyway, I think Annie is spectacular! And I used to hate her! I hope M.C. Egan gets nominated for an Emmy. Let us know in a couple of weeks who "dunnit" and please don't make it Annie, it would be just too strange!

Consider this, just a wild idea I had one night while watching "All My Children". Everybody talks about how Adam is "different", and not himself, how he's making decisions he wouldn't have made before, the fainting spells, and supposed memory loss.

What if he's really *not* Adam Chandler? What if Adam really *was* the one killed, and Stuart assumed Adam's identity? Stuart would realize what would happen to the family business if Adam really died - falling to JR and Scott to run it - with JR unstable and Scott a bit inexperienced? Also, I have a real problem seeing Annie as someone Adam would be interested in, but for the more naive, innocent Stuart, not such a big stretch.

The stress on Stuart, being thrust into the high stress life of Adam would account for the dizzy spells, and give a new meaning to Annie's instructions to Emma, that she must forget what she saw if she loved her- what she saw being that *Adam* was the one who died.

Just a thought that came to me, that there may be a deeper story line here than we suspect.

Enough already. My wife and I have been watching AMC since the early eighties. We never miss an eposide and even tape those eposides that we are not able to see when they are orginally aired. The Starut whodunit is old and dragging the program down. The writers need to review some old scripts to learn how to write for this show. There are only two themes that they seem to be able to write about: death and baby snatching. You drop these two themes and they have no other story line to work with. They turned the powerful Adam Chandler into a bumbling, nervous cat. They drop characters as if we suddenly will forget that they ever existed. What ever happened to Reggie??? Bring Greenlee back. The show needs spark again. David gets away with far to much. In the old shows he always got away with some things, but eventually was called on the carpet and forced to faced up to his evil doings...not so now, the writers don't know what to do with him. And what have they done to Tadd the Cad? They turned him into an unemployed punch drunk idiot. Writers, please rework his character and give him some real clot on the show. But him in charage of a multi-million dollar organization to go head to head with Adam. Have JR jump ship to work with him. Bring Jamie back from the great black hole that you placed him, but do something because this ship is sinking!

I say it was Adam. He will not be prosicuted because David had him so drugged up that he didn't know what he was doing when he was running around the house in the dark and then passed out and Annie found him, kept feeding him drugs to keep him out of it. She knew Adam was her ticket to freedom, so she swears her daughter to secrecy. Kendell cools her heels in prison until she has her "real life" baby. How sick to death of this story line already am I. Adam and Annie, Erica and Ryan, OMG, I think I'm gonna yack!

I am really tired of the Stuart whodunit too. I have watched AMC from their first airing. Long Time!! It could've been Adam, but whats to say it wasn't Emma?? She is the only witness and they believe her story totally! They aren't even trying to find anybody else. The thought of Erica and Ryan together makes me want to gag! She is old enough to his mother, same with Adam and Annie. Maybe it was Adam, reason for marrying Annie, she knows he did but has blocked it out like a lot of her other memories. Can't testify against hubby. Just a little food for thought.

I think it was little Emma. Kendall remembers seeing her there and Annie keeps telling her to forget about it. Annie is psycho but she loves her little girl and will do anything to make sure she doesn't remember. I think Emma was scared and found that gun and accidentally shot Stuart. No main character will be hauled off to prison and mystery solved!!!!!!!!
And for the Annie fans, they will be redeemed since Annie will have been acting in Emma's best interest and not using her to cover up her own bad acts.

I hate AMC this summer Too much of Kendall and Ryan tto start the summer TheRyan hooks up with Erica after Annie Greenlee and Kendall all in one year.Please end these stories and refocus on Fusion and bring back Greenlee ASAP epecially since Alicia Minshew will be off to have her baby and AMC will be in CA soon The New Year Will bring new and fresh energy that thus show needs badly

It is obvious to me that Adam in his "drugged" state shot Stuart. Why and how I don't know. Annie saved Adam to cash in on his money and influence; maybe at some point to blackmail him about the murder. I just wish they would get on with it already.

Man, this murder thing has gone on too long. We all know kendall didnt do it. and im sure we are all lookin at the wrong person. So come on and give us the rooky person who we never thoought of already and lets get to some other things that been on hold. When is it goin to come to light that the crazy wife really killed her husband. Hubert better be the good detective he is and find out cause she is makin a fire trail all thrrough pine valley. Come on the fans are dying for answers

Ahhh gosh when we will find out about the damn murder??? When will Kendall finally get the flashback we have all been waiting for..where she see's crazy annie?? Which sucks cause i liked the fact the there was a crazy person in the show...and marissa needs to get up off jr and go with scott...of btw is greenlee alive???? CONFUSION
