The lovely Alison Sweeney gave birth to her second child on Monday night.

Alison Sweeney, who plays our beloved Sami (or "SSSSSSSSAMI" if you're Kate. You know that's how she says it) on "Days of Our Lives" and is host of "The Biggest Loser" gave birth late Monday night to a brand new baby girl.

People.com reports that she and her husband, Dave Sanov, named the child Megan Hope and that she weighed in at a healthy 6 lbs, 7 oz. The couple already have a 3 year old named Ben.

She told People earlier this year: "The whole experience of having a girl, I'd love that."

Allison basically worked right up until she gave birth. As in, she gave birth while still in full hair and make-up from the day's shoot. That's some Alexis Carrington action, right there.

Even thought Allison had her girl, don't expect Sami to disappear from Salem. The show did a ton of pre-taping with Allison, so Sami will remain front and center so we won't get any gaps in thinking about how she should hook up with Rafe (Galen Gering) and hopefully she can yell at Nicole a lot.
