I think they should fire the writers of Young & Restless. Cane is a very crucial part of the storyline with Lily and the show. How many times are these types of storylines going to take place. Might stop watching for awhile!! Really sad day.

why why why why would you write cane off? Is there anyone on that show that deserves to be happily married other than Michael & Lauren, Billy & Victoria and Mrs. Chancellor and her husband? You really can make a person question whether they would continue to watch this show or better still, let me be one your so-called writer.

Please make Lily's character stronger and less whiny.I find it very frustrating to watch her go from one extreme to the other.It's as if in one moment she's this helpless,sheltered little girl then at another time she's outspoken,strong.Let her character be more consistent and strong and able to stand up to any challenge just as her mother,Drucilla,did. I'd love for The Young And The Restless' writers to make Tucker McCall Devon Winter's long lost father, without knocking Neal Winters out of the picture,I believe these two will have quite a bit in common and express a very unique father and son bond.Both Tucker and Devon missed out on having their birth mothers in their early lives and both are ambitious,savvy,head strong and know who they are and what they want in life.What these two will give to one another in the long haul I believe will be something to truly behold.This, of course, is only a suggestion.Thanks.

I am thoroughly disgusted and outraged that Daniel Goddard's character,Cane Ashby has been prematurely killed.This character is as vital as Victor Newman.What in God's name are the writers and the studio heads thinking? I have been watching this soap opera since it's inception.This is truly a class act soap drama I hope will continue on for many more years.Did Daniel Goddard request to leave the show or was there a problem with his contract? Please bring back Cane Ashby!The character of Cane Ashby is to be truly admired for the act of love, decency,courage,heart,sensitivity and responsibility.How many men no matter what age they are actually live by such a human code.This is what attracted me to Cane Ashby.The studio heads really need to take a step back and look at how such characters affect the viewers.Cane was very positive.Lily,his wife,for example has suffered enough through the loss of her mother,Drucilla,then her dearest friend,Colleen, then cancer,as well as,being told she couldn't have children of her own.Why keep throwing in contraditions to a story line that's supposed to send a positive message,right? Hasn't Cane suffered enough? Let him live.Let's not destroy a story line for the sake of ratings.It's important to know when to heat up a drama,but without killing its integrity.Stop killing off the characters whose presences are very vital to making a drama truly a drama.

The writers need to put Cain back in the show and let this couple be back together. This couple been through to much mess and clean this up. The writers dont know what to write about and hire me.
