First of all I can't believe some of these posts.. lol This has turned into a Jasam - Liason debate... Anyway!
Jason has made a huge sacrifice in giving up Jake. Jason has TRIED more than once to be a father to his son so give him some credit. It wasn't until Jake was kidnapped and his life was actually in danger that woke Jason up and made the desicion he made. Liz also wanted Jason to change and give up his whole life to be with her - He could never do that - This is Jason Morgan, not Jason Q... So all Jason knows is the mob - How can people expect him to drop everything (his life) and change to be with Liz and Jake? He thinks his son will be in alot of danger if he does this. Look at Sonnys kids... Jason is terrified...lol He doesn't want that for Jake and to me, he's made a huge sacrifice and Jake "was" better off. Now don't get me wrong - i do still believe that Jason should at least have some kinda visitation rights and spend sometime with Jake here and there but again, I understand why he did what he did. I wish Jason was part of Jake's life "now" because Liz is a MESS! She's lost her mind and is making terrible choices for these kids. This woman can't keep it together - She gets preg by 3 diff guys and now that she has these kids, she doesn't know what to do. Sam has made some mistakes but Liz is no better (in fact she's worse). Sam is always staright forward with EVERYTHING but Liz always wants to hide stuff and act like she's perfect so thats all I'll say about that. I'm not going into details but sorry - I prefer Sam anyday! Specially with Jason! And whoever said that Jason and Sam hated eachother obviously is not a fan and doesn't know their history.... lol Jason never hated Sam when they met - In fact he was the only one helping her. He only wanted to pay her off because (at the time) Jason didn't want anyone to come between Sonny and Carly. He tried to do the same thing with Brenda when Sonny was married to Lily. Jason felt bad for Sam but never hated her. And the rest after that is HISTORY cause they fell in love and we have the most awesome love story of Jasam...

You all say that you want the real Jason back, but did you people forget that after the accident there was no more Jason Q. only Jason Morgan so all this going back in time when you say that this Jason is not the real one, did you guys forget that after the accident when Jason woke up after the accident he wasen't Jason Q. anymore, so from that day on Jason Q. was no more, he became Jason Morgan. This is the real Jason Morgan now not Jason Q. who doesn't remember much of that time. Now Jason is a hired hit man & Sonny's right hand man. Not somebody that you guys created in your fantasy from when he was Jason Q., that part of Jason life died when he woke up after the accident. I don't understand why you keep saying that you wish Jason was like that, he can't be like that anymore, this is the real Jason Morgan, you can't change Jason life style just to fit all you fantasies. When Steve dos his PA's he always says that he loves playing this life style.

If it wasen't for Sam saving Jake there would be no Jake Sam risked her own life to rescue Jake & if it wasen't for Sam there would be no Jason, she was the only one to convince him to have the operation on his head, no other person got through to him like Sam did. These two are connected in a way that no other two people in love are connected, They love each other unconditionally. Jason wouldn't want to raise Lucky's son when Lucky finds out that he is the baby's father & not Nicholas. Jason isn't in love with Liz the wayt he isin love with Sam, with Sam it's pure, deep. He can be himself with Sam & not pretend to be anyone or anything else, they are comfortable with each other. They belong together.

I agree StellaPI79. Jason seems weak to me these days. He had more control when he was with Elizabeth. It appears he cannot make a decision or doesn't know what to do in any given situation. That's not the character we know and love. Although I do like the friendship he has with Carly I wish he would give her some boundaries. She definitely has given him boundaries in her life. She has way to much say it what he does with his life. Anyway looking forward to Brenda coming back. Hope they put her with Sonny. Who knows maybe she can put Kristina in her place.

Jason belongs with Sam. They have been through so much together. They both made mistakes & have forgiven each other for their mistakes, that is true love. Jason said to Sam that she is the only woman who gets him inside & out & accepts him unconditionally, does not try to change him like others tried & failed. Sam & Jason have incrediable chemistry together on screen as (Kelly & Steve) Their emotions come alive on screen, they make it seem so real & magical, their acting ability together on screen sizzles & is so amazing. Jason & Sam have each others heart, & soul. They don't have to hide their feelings from anybody else or have to go in hiding to show their emotions & live for one another. They are two people who started as friends & that friendship grew into one of the most incrediable amazing love story in daytime, & it still continues to grew & become stronger. Jason gave up his son because he wanted better for his son than what he could offe him, that to me is not a deadbeat dad, but one great father thinking first & most for the well being of his son, if & when he wants to be with his sin, he can be & Sam will support him all the way. He doesn't have to be with the mother of his child just because they have a child together, there are lots of single mothers & fathers who are not together & their children are fine. Jason loves Sam with his whole heart & soul he has told her that time & time again. Jason said to Sam that she is the only woman that he ever loved or will ever love. He only said this to Sam, he never said that to any other woman that he has been with. Steve & Kelly's chemistry on screen are amazing & incrediably great. The writers of Gh knew what they were doing when they put these two actors together on screen, so thank you to all the writers & staff at GH for putting these two actors together to play Jason & Sam (Steve & Kelly). I knew when these two first met, that their was something so incrediablly & amazing about these two on screen, their acting ability just shows up on screen with each & ever scene that they play together. Thank you to the writers for giving us our couple Jasam back stronger & even better than before.
