I'm so happy OLTL got best show!! I never thought I would be someone to watch soap operas but I got sucked in my OLTL in about 2007 ahaha it was at the time with Starr having sex and getting pregnant, that's what really got me hooked. And then I started watching General Hospital, which definitely the best when it comes to writing and acting but OLTL is still my favorite.

The Ford brothers are HOT and I love Langston/Ford and CANNOT WAIT for Starr and James to get together FINALLY! But so much crazy great stuff have been happening with that show! With evil Clint, Rex's parent drama and all the DNA switching!! Good grief, plus I'm loving the Kelly/Joey thing and the whole scam with Aubrey, I just really want Kelly and Joey to get together!! And who could forget the baby daddy drama with Natalie and Jessica/crazy Marty. So exciting!

General Hospital has been a bore here lately..I was really into it awhile back with Michael, Dante, prison drama, and then with Kristina's domestic abuse. But I wasn't really into it until the bus crash and since then the only thing I'm watching for is Michael and all his issues plus Abby! There such a gorgeous couple!

HATE DAVID&GREENLEE YET I FEEL THEY R MEANT 2 BURN IN HELL TOGETHER. BO&NORA'S WEDDING WAS NORMAL AND BORING, BUT IN A GOOD WAY. I LOVE TODD, TEA, & DANIELLE. THE REUNION WAS BEAUTIFUL N STABLE. N LASTLY, LETS DESPUTE THAT "BEST SHOW" WIN. OLTL TAKES 2 LONG 2 GET 2 THE POINT N IS VERY BORING IN THE PROCESS. GH KEPT THE ADRENALINE PUMPING. I MEAN THE STORIES MAY'VE BEEN LONG BUT THEY WERE WELL WORTH IT BCUZ THE PLOTS WERE THE MOST EXCITING OUTTA ALL THE SOAPS.

What made OLTL was Bo and Nora's wedding week! I watched it over and over... GREAT JOB!

Sam and Jason Jasam are my favorite couple. Hope to see more of them in 2011

Way to go oltl! I've been watching oltl for 30 years on and off. I think this was one of the best years ever! Prior to the intrduction of the Ford family, I watched occasionally, but now I never miss a show. The Fords are absolutely what made this year great!

I hope Robin and Patrick find there way back together. I just love those two together and Emma too.

Sonny shoots Dante on GH is the best story of the year??? Then it must not have had a lot of good competition. The only "best" win it gets with me is the story most likely to do more damage to characters. This story solidified just how low Sonny has gone as a character on that soap. He willfully and in cold blood shot an unarmed cop in his living room and only felt bad about it when he found out he was his son. This story also made me dislike Dante when I was just warming up to him. The fact that he allowed Sonny to get away with shooting him and lied on the stand to do it was not only against the integrity of the character, but also stupid.

As for best couple, I think the Y&R couple is a great choice, but I think the top honors belong to John and Natalie on OLTL. Fans are also very passionate about Robin and Patrick on GH and while this was a bad year for this couple, I find it hard to believe that results to these polls failed to indicate fans' passion for them. The Scrubs fans must not have known there was a poll if they weren't represented.

Now, I agree that OLTL should have won best show if the competition was AMC and GH-- but Y&R deserves the honors in my opinion. Just glad to see that GH didn't get that honor because the show is horrible this year. BUT, the FORD family is NOT, I repeat NOT, the reason it is best soap. That is laughable! They may have dominated airtime, but they were not the best of OLTL- they were and still are the WORST. The reasons OLTL is on top are b/c the show finally reunited super couples, Bo and Nora and John and Natalie; gave vets a story again (Viki, Clint, Bo and Nora); Todd and Tea (even though I'm not a big fan, the Eli story (mainly because of the talented Matt Walton, not the story itself) and maybe a little of James Ford and Starr. If you look at the show ratings, you'll see that the Ford had a depressive impact on the show's popularity along with too much focus on teens. The better rated days and weeks where when John/Nat, Bo/Nora and others (except Ford's) were on! LOL

I can believe it! I've been an off-and-on One Life To Live viewer for 10 years, and its only been with the arrival Ford and James, that I've become totally hooked. I don't miss a single episode. I just love Ford & Langston, James & Starr, and Nate and Dani as couples. Writers keep up the good work!!

The FORD'S made OLTL the best show of the year? LOL... Sorry Soapnet, but the only good thing about the Ford's is/was James and Eddie, the rest are a waste of air time and is actually bring the show down IMO. Their acting is just not up to par with Viki, Charlie, Dorian, Echo, Bo, and Nora's. While Soapnet may love the Ford's I and many others just wish they would pack up and leave already.
