It just hit me if Ricky marries Erica & Jack it won't be legal.

I have to say, Liz surprised me in that scene. She did stand up to the plate and save her children's lives and even her enemy sam from a thug.
But it wasn't the first time she lifted a gun to defend herself. I believe she pulled a gun on the guy who raped her.
