OLTL is the only soap I still watch but now the stories are getting bad. I don't want to see gay sex & teen sex. What are you turning into with these story lines? You make anyone who is conservative with good morals look like an idiot with these stories. I respect Patricia Mauceri for sticking up for her no gay stance! With the characters background (Carlotta) she would never accept Christian being gay! You are losing me as a fan quickly and I have been watching since almost the beginning.
How would Christian be gay? Thats not where the story line is going at all. Also I agree with the teen sex I don't think its appropriate on a primarily adult show for teens to be engrossed in some hot steamy sex act with me see Starr's training bra. However, gay people have morals too. Two consenting adults are evil because they are homosexual. They aren't perves. To throw gay sex and teen sex into the same category isn't cool.
Gay storylines have a place in daytime as much as any other romantic storyline! Not everyone fits your idea of 'normal' and I am so very happy that daytime is bringing gay relationships into the spotlight, because it shows people that there are others out there that are trying desperately to fit into the 'acceptable' way of life, desperate enough to go against their true feelings just to keep from making othera uncomfortable. I suppose some people don't understand what it's like to hide who you truly are because you're afraid you'll be targeted and have to live in fear. You know that time when-in a new relationship- all you want to do is make out over dinner, there are people that are scared to do it in public, and I for one believe that they are entitled to every right and common courtesy as everyone else-including having a storyline in Daytime dramas.
Did anyine have a problem with any of the inter-racial relationships? I hope not, because you can't help who you fall for, and you aren't supposed to judge someone based on the color of their skin, why? BECAUSE THEY'RE BORN THAT WAY, nothing is WRONG with them...so why then are people so quick to judge the Gay storylines??? Gay and Lesbian and like it or not, Transgender people are all born that way! Get off it!
I HATE STACEY SHE IS THE ONE OF THE WORST ACTRESS THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN, HOHEY A BODY DOESN'T MAKE YOU AN ACTRESS AND I AM SO TRIED OF YOU THAT I WILL NOT WATCH THE SHOW TILL YOU ARE OFF IT. GIVE IT UP..THE WRITERS ARE JUST AS BAD HERE AS THEY ARE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL WITH THIS STUPID CHILDREN LINE OF MICHAEL AND CHRISTENA. UGH!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE THE POOREST OF ALL, WHERE ARE THEY INTERVIEWING AT THE ZOO?? MONKEYS COULD DO BETTER. WHY DON'T YOU GIVE THAT A TRY FOR A WHILE IT SURE WOULD BE ALOT MORE INTERESTING THEN WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO PULL OFF.AS I SAID GET REAL!!
Every soap is now including a gay storyline. I really don't care about the sexual orientation of the characters. I want really good storylines that keep my interest.
I'm sorry If you (the producers) introduce a gay character! You better make damn sure the character is exciting! Right now! I'm bored with Luke and Noah on ATWT...And they are as of now THE SUPERCOUPLE! (yawn) As a gay man totally excited by the introduction of Gay Characters. BUT BE DAMN SURE THEY ARE INTERESTING for me as a viewer want to comeback! Matter of fact the European Soaps have been introducing these characters for years. The U.S. Soap community is just a little late with getting characters like them! Check out Verboten Lieber (Forbidden Love)!
Being gay is a storyline. The problems you face. Especially if you are in the closet, discrimination, fear of losing family friends love one.Is going to be iinteresting to see how OLTL writes this story. Especially with Fish probably being the father of Stacey baby. Perphas HE and Kyle can adopt. I think the whole story line will be interesting. ITs sort of ironic iin that the character Fish is in the closet in real life he is openly gay and the Kyle who is openly gay in charaacter in real life he is straight. Its going to be iinteresing to see the reltionship between the two revolve as they rekindle thir college romance.

who cares if fish & kyle had a thing in college? i hope fish hooks up with that sexy layla soon. i dont wanna see her with that idiot cristian...he doesnt deserve a good woman after the way he dissed sarah!
I also agree , enough already with the gay storylines. I hope they don't turn fish and kyle into a gay couple.
