I cant believe that they have taken Guiding Light off the air after all these years.....Im 40 yrs old and I grew up watching it.....I love all the cast members and all the extras theyve have on there from time to time.....They have made a BIG mistake by taking it off the air.....Hopefully there will be enough ppl that will complain that they will put it back on....

I have watched GUIDING since 1981...27 years, I believe. I loved Phillip, Beth, Rick & Mindy; the 25-month love story of Lujack & Beth; I loved Tony & Annabelle Reardon; I loved Josh & Reva and Billy & Vanessa; I loved Rick Bauer & Roxie Shayne; I loved Roger & Holly's 1989-96 run; I loved Richard & Cassie [whose chemistry reminded me of Lujack & Beth, only Rassie were rich adults with children] and Gus & Harley. The reuniting of Josh & Reva, Phillip & Beth, Frank & Blake, Rick & Mindy, Billy & Vanessa and Buzz & Lillian...all very good. The only glaring loose end: what happened to Jeffrey?

I will miss this show...

I've always loved & looked forward to the Bauer Barbecue. I mean, who hasn't? This year's was the best one yet because it looked like a party you'd want to go to. Hardly any drama, old friends returning, and everyone having a good time. We also actually saw the Bauer swimming pool - very cool!

I keep hearing how Jenna is the love of Buzz's life. I didn't get to see much of their romance, but I'm sure they were a wonderful couple. I'm glad she's been able to return as a ghost.

I adored Brittany Snow as Susan/Daisy. She did a terrific job and was believable as Harley's daughter. It's too bad that she left, but she went to bigger roles.

Reva's clone story was going on when I became interested in GL. It sucked me in because it was so different and absurd. But at some point I came to realize it's not one of GL's greatest stories. Leave to Reva to get all the bizarre storylines.

I did not always like Olivia Spencer. In fact, I use to hate her. She was with Josh, and I wanted Josh back with Reva. So, I could not like her. It took a while to come around. Her dynamic with Alan was interesting, and then she sleeps with Phillip. They were hot! From then on, I gradually began liking her. And for over a year she's been my favorite character (since Harley and Gus left). I love her with Natalia, and she's sweet with Emma. And Crystal Chappell is one hell of an actor!

Finding out Gus was a Spaulding was unbelievable. I greatly enjoyed that story of Gus discovering he was adopted and how it changed his & Harley's lives. But I never liked Gus being a Spaulding. Luckily, he never became as ruthless & serious as Alan.

I enjoyed Harley forming her own agency with Blake & Mel. For a little while it was a lot of fun. And Harley wound up hilariously working against Gus on a missing person's case. But at some point the business got old, and there wasn't good writing for it. Thankfully, Harley went back to being a cop.

Phillip & Harley were my first favorite couple on GL. They seemed really fun, romantic, and happy together. Little did I know that Phillip would hurt her and belong with Beth. They had a good run, though, and from them we have Zach - cutest kid ever. Their wedding was sweet, and the honeymoon was hot! Sometimes I hated that Phillip & Harley were ever together because it was terrible when Phillip went after custody of Zach. I use to hate Phillip, but he's been redeemed for me. If Harley was still in town, it would have been nice to see her make peace with Phillip for good.

I liked Cassie & Richard. They had a real love for each other. Their royal wedding is one of my favorites. I never saw another soap wedding like it. They did get boring, though, but it was tragic when Richard died. Too tragic. I'll always remember when he came to her in a dream, said a goodbye, and left a rose for her.

I did see Josh & Reva's third wedding. That was a fun time. The reception was one I'd have loved to attend. It seemed real, except for any drama that went on, of course. Reva's blue dress was gorgeous. It's a wedding I won't forget. And I have it on tape.

I hate that GL is gone. I grew up with this show. So there goes a child hood memory. I am 54 years old so apart of my life is gone. This is hard to say goodbye for a life time of memories. God Bless GL.
