Why in the world would they move Pine Valley to CA to become just another soap? AMC has always had the personality and energy like NY instead of the perversion & whining of LA. I've watched this show from day one until they killed off Tad and I didn't come back until he did.Now they have him a more mature fun guy which is great but can't seem to find the right chemistry except Taylor & she's going. Krystal going through all that stuff with David is so out there insane. But I fell in love with the Kendall & Zack duet & have mainly watched it for that reason. But these new writers have screwed everyone up. If Kendall was as dingy as she's been since waking from the heart attack I never would have liked her. Even Zach is being sent to weird places emotionally. If these writers have psychological problems with relationships let them work through them with a shrink instead of ruining everything that makes AMC the only soap worth watching daily. Oh well I needed more time in my day so come January my tv viewing habits will be restricted to the night time. Obviously these writers are going to have it canceled so best to stop when it moves to L(ooney) A(cres) so I won't have to worry about it. Maybe I'll go to Young & Restless. Most of those I used to like on AMC are there already.

Having been a fan of AMC since it's inception, I am thrilled that most of the cast members of All My Children will be making the move to Los Angeles. I will miss Thorsten Kaye, Aiden Turner, Beth Ehlers, Brianne Moncrief. Good luck to Alicia on the upcoming birth of her baby. I will miss Chrishell Stause if she leaves..and Joe MacDonnell, one of the original cast members..I will miss you Dr. Joe. You've given me and countless fans the pleasure of many enjoyable years of your great acting. I have much faith and hope AMC will continue to be the great show it is here in Los Angeles. Look for our favorite soap stars to have tans year-round!

The producers of AMC have "lost" it. What crazy idiot(s) decided to move the show to L.A.? And I don't EVEN want to hear anything about how it can go to HD. I'd much rather have the show stay in NY with the same actors than be able to see the show in HD.

I love AMC and have watched it for years, but I'm afraid that might end soon. With the "loss" of so many actors, I just don't know whether it will be worth watching. I've been looking for a reason to decrease the number of shows I watch, and this may be just the ticket.

Alicia Minshew is leaving the show. She has no plans to return after maternity leave, what with a new baby and a husband who owns a couple of NY restaurants. Her family is more important to her than the show, as it should be. The same with Thorsten Kaye. He and Susan Haskell have a couple of kids and she is on OLTL. Family first.

And if it's true that they've already hired someone new to play Colby, how cold and rude is that. I liked Brianne in the role. Beth Ehlers also got a raw deal. Brian Frons is a nasty man who would run over his own mother.
I just hope that all of these actors that are moving are getting something decent for doing it. The way soaps are going these days, and with their fate in Brian Frons' hands, I wouldn't be surprised if AMC was cancelled within the next 2 years.

Frons, you are destroying the show, you should have left them in NY where they belong.

Please tell Thorsten and Chrishell to join everyone in LA. They are so good. I use to watch him on oltl and I liked him on there too. but almc is so much better. Alot more action. Thorsten, Please go with the show. And chrishell, You are so hot on all my children. please go to CA. There are so many more opportunities there. I hate to see good characters go. I have quit watching some soaps because a good characters leave. So far I only watch one anymore and that is AMC. Please stay. you and thorsten are my favorites. GOD bless both of you.

All My Children is NY. I am still upset this move is happening, because I will miss my AMC soap events and star sightings. I'm glad Thorsten is staying though and I hope Crishell stays as well!

I am so happy to see so many of the cast coming to California, I have been a fan since day one of this show, so sad to see Joe Martin leave, but I understand, he's been a constant on this show all these years, along with Erica. I am saddest about Thorsten Kaye (Zach) leaving, I love the chemistry between him and Kendall, he is such a joy to watch, eventhough I also watch OLTL, I remember him on that show years ago, but him and Kendall no more, that's just hard to imagine they would not be a couple anymore. Chrishell (Amanda) please come to California, I think you are a great actress and I love your role as a Amanda. I'm thrilled all of the Hubbards are coming to California, hope to run into one of you on the streets in LA one day, especially Jesse (smile). Thorsten PLEASE RECONSIDER WE LOVE YOU.

I will not miss Zach although there was chemistry between he and Kendall. He is moody, secretive, cocky, brooding, and I don't like his attitude most of the time. He comes across as superior to most anyone he talks to.

I think it is sad that Taylor is not continuing as she and Tad had incredible chemistry - much more than any he ever had with Krystal. It was nice to see a real romance beginning but now that won't be happening. Let's hope the writers don't put Tad back with Krystal again.

I hope Jake and Amanada work it out and stay on.
